Using research, creativity and skill, Laurier’s wardrobe coordinator and costume designer Helen Basson provides costumes for the faculties at Laurier, as well as student productions and clubs. A Laurier employee since 1996, Basson has also worked at the Stratford Theatre for over 30 years and maintains a position as the Tom Patterson Theatre’s wardrobe mistress during the summer. For Basson, working with students and seeing her costumes come alive makes her job enjoyable.
